This week we focus on persuasive writing and I write on the topic of is GMO food is better or is Organis food better we did a pros and cons list and a planning sheet then we could write a piece of writing about it and I couldn't choose whether I was on the organic food is better or GMO food is better so I was a fence sitter and I would like to share my pros about each topic. Which one do you think is better?
Kia ora everyone do you know what part of your house has the most mold? ANSWER: The kitchen. In literacy, we have had a look at Maori food, Fresh food, Moldy food, and now we are looking at preserving food. Kia ora bloggers, lockdown just finished in Christchurch. In lockdown school for literacy, we had to do a quick write then a must-do activate, and a can-do activate, and then if we wanted we could do some reading. My favorite activate was writing a quick write. We always had a focus on what we wanted our story to sound like. Kia ora bloggers, Lockdown still is on and home learning continues. But in this learning, I have learned about Organic food and Genetically modified food.
What is Organic Food? Organic food is the fruits and veggies that have been grown without chemicals and without harming the environment and this means the bungs that came to feast on them don't get killed by chemicals.
What is Genetically modified food? Genetically modified food is food that is grown with chemicals and mechanics not hand-grown. This food can grow all year round not just in particular seasons.
