Food science.

Kia ora everyone do you know what part of your house has the most mold? ANSWER: The kitchen. In literacy, we have had a look at Maori food, Fresh food, Moldy food, and now we are looking at preserving food. In preserving the food we looked at Sports drinks food in the wild and food in Antarctica. Here is the biteable post I have created to share this information. Food science link A way to preserve food is by freeze-drying heating and vacuum sealing.

Quick Writes

Kia ora bloggers, lockdown just finished in Christchurch. In lockdown school for literacy, we had to do a quick write then a must-do activate, and a can-do activate, and then if we wanted we could do some reading. My favorite activate was writing a quick write. We always had a focus on what we wanted our story to sound like.  I in the first week we focused on personification and on the other week we focused on Idioms. I would like to share a few quick writes. Have you done any quick writes?

Food.

Kia ora bloggers, Lockdown still is on and home learning continues. But in this learning, I have learned about Organic food and Genetically modified food.

What is Organic Food? Organic food is the fruits and veggies that have been grown without chemicals and without harming the environment and this means the bungs that came to feast on them don't get killed by chemicals.

What is Genetically modified food? Genetically modified food is food that is grown with chemicals and mechanics not hand-grown. This food can grow all year round not just in particular seasons.

So what do you think is Organic food better or Genetically modified food?
